Food Production

The Milewski Farm has partnered with neighbors to increase the production of crops for their dairy cows.  The Milewski Farm does not milk cows but is inextricably linked with the production of milk.  The Milewski Farm also manages small orchards of Lady Alice apple trees, raspberries and pear and cherry trees which are all cultivated for market and farm to table.  On the horizon is a fish farm, oysters and vegetable production that will reach beyond the tables of the Milewski's and their neightbors.

Crops for Dairy Farming

The Milewski Farm is utilized for cropping for dairy cows that live next door.  An intelligent crop rotation of corn and hay is used to increase soil vitality and reduce soil erosion.

Cows in a nearby barn get a chance to taste the crops from the Milewski Farm and produce milk from them. Some of these cows were raised in the pastures on the Milewski Farm drinking from the South Fork of the Eau Claire River
